Moose Vandalizim

I thought " why does this bull have a red/blond back?" then it dawned on me its sun bleached like my hair got every summer.  I love the light, color, and gesture of this bull.
Being a landscape designer, I just about ran over and stopped this fellow from destroying this tree.  I thought better of it, because he had a lovely cow close by and he might get aggitated.

Grand Teton National Park

A clear cold morning in the beautiful Grand Teton National Park. The temperature is -9º with 10" of fresh new snow.  My wish was to include  the mighty Snake River in the foreground of this photo. Unfortunately the closer I walked toward the river the softer the focus became because of the fog off the river. My planned composition will need to be captured on a warmer morning, without fog. Maybe March 2012.
